Writers International Premier Screen Talent:
WIPST (Writers International Premier Screen Talent) is a new competition looking for raw talent. Vibe TV.TV Ltd is giving screenwriters an opportunity to get a pilot of their movie made. If you think you've got what it takes to write a script then this is your chance to put your writing into action on the screen.
The most difficult step for a screenwriter is to get on to the first rung of the ladder. This competition aims to create a positive industry and audience exposure for work that might otherwise not be seen.
As an industry partner, Vibe TV are looking for great stories in any of the following genres: Adventure, Comedy, Crime, Drama, Family, Horror, Romantic Comedy, Thriller/Suspense, Documentary, Fantasy, Ghost, TV and Open genres.
The competition launched on August 1st will run until November 30th. The winner will be announced on January 18th 2010, and filming of the pilot will commence in March/April 2010.
